ITVX is the enhanced version of ITV Player, allowing a common platform where viewers can catch up with their favorite programs on ITV and explore even more. It allows easy access to any program that one needs. Hence, users can watch shows at their own pleasure. This would be a great tool for those who miss their favorite programs or just want to sit down and watch a whole series of programs.
The platform has, however, received numerous complaints about its technical performance, with users experiencing buffering and crashing and reporting that the interface is difficult to navigate. The abundance of advertising can also be a little annoying to some, definitely interrupting the viewing experience. While the range of content is increased beyond traditional television programming, the user experience generally could be significantly improved with enhanced stability and a more intuitive platform.
